Because of schools being cancelled today due to weather, classes are also cancelled tonight 11-22-10 at Dance Unlimited. If you have any questions please refer to our “Winter Weather Policy” in the November newsletter.

Let's get 2010 - 2011 started!

Wow! It is hard to believe that the time is finally here! Classes start tomorrow (Sept. 7th) at 10:00 a.m. with our Adult Jazz class, (Yoga will begin in Oct.). We hope you all have had a fantastic summer and we can't wait to see everyone again. This is going to be the biggest and best year yet at Dance Unlimited and we are ready to get it goin!

Summer Update

Wow, what an amazing job everyone did at Recital! It is hard to believe that it has already been a month. We are so proud of our dancers performances and love them all! Now it is time to update some things and send out information on Summer Classes!

1. DVD's are in. Those who wanted them mailed should be seeing them any day. For those of you who want to pick them up at Krista's house just stop by.

2. If you are interested in attending "Dance Unlimited Rigby Night at the Playmill" contact Krista for information on getting your tickets.

3. Remember that we are planning on riding a float in the Rigby Stampede Parade on June 12th. Please meet at the Rigby LDS Stake Center (across from Rigby Jr. High) @ 9:30 a.m. that morning and wear a Dance Unlimited T-Shirt or a black T-shirt.

4. Performance Team and Competition Team Auditions have been set up. We will have a parents meeting on Thursday June 10th @ 6:00 p.m. for Performance Team and at 7:00 p.m. for the Competition Team. (Remember Competition Team is for dancers High School age and older only). Performance Team Auditions will be on Monday June 14th beginning at 3:30 p.m. Competition Team Auditions will be on Monday June 14th beginning at 6:00 p.m.

5. Summer classes will begin on Monday June 14th. We are in the process of contacting those who have signed up to notify them of times for their classes. Feel free to call Krista if you have any questions.

We are so excited to get things up and going again and can't wait to see you all!

12:20 p.m.: Friday 12:00 class. Wear “Happy Face” pink romper, hairpiece, white leotard, white tights, and ballet shoes. We will have only 20 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

12:40 p.m.: Friday 1:00 class. Wear “Monkey Around” brown leotard, vest. tutu, hat, nude tights, and ballet shoes. We will have only 20 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

1:00 p.m.: Thursday 10:00 class. Wear “I feel Pretty” dress, white tights, hair piece, and ballet shoes. We will have only 20 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

1:20 p.m.: Thursday11:00 class. Wear “Big Girls Don’t Cry” top, pants, nude tights, hair piece, and ballet shoes. We will have only 20 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

1:40 p.m.: Thursday 12:00 class. Wear “Something There” leotard, tutus, white tights, hair piece, and ballet shoes. We will have only 20 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

2:00 p.m.: Wednesday 4:00 Tap class. Wear “My Dress” dress, white leotard, white tights, hair piece, and tap shoes. We will have only 20 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

2:20 p.m.: Thursday 1:00 class. Wear “Greased Lightening” dark levies, white short sleeve t-shirt, sunglasses, bandanas, white socks, and black church shoes. We will have only 15 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

2:35 p.m.: Wednesday 3:00 class. Wear “Be Our Guest” leotard, tutu, white tights, hair piece, and ballet shoes. We will have only 20 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

5:00 p.m.: Monday 4:30 Hip Hop 2 (Miss Jean): Wear top, black tank leotard, “skinny” jeans, stirrup tights, hair piece, and gore boots. Please have 2 individual poses chosen. We will have only 30 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

5:30 p.m..: Monday 5:00 Boys Hip Hop class. Wear “I’ve Got Rhythm” shirt, black dress pants, black socks, and black tennis shoes. We will have only 20 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

5:50 p.m.: Performance Team: Wear Hip-Hop costume. Then the lyrical group will change into their costumes for “This is my Time, and the jazz group to their jazz costumes for “Sweet Dreams”. Make sure you have all of the costume pieces. Please have 2 individual poses chosen for each picture. We will have only 35 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

6:25 p.m.: Ballroom class (girls). Wear top, leotard, leggings, leg warmers, stirrup tights, hair piece and gore boots. We will have only 30 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

6:25 p.m..: Ballroom class (boys). Wear black polo, dark levies, black socks, and ballroom shoes. We will have only 30 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

6:55 p.m.: Wednesday 4:00 class: Wear “New Girl In Town” brown top and pants, white leotard, stirrup tights, hair piece and gore boots. Please have 2 individual poses chosen. We will have only 30 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

7:25 p.m.: Wednesday 7:00 class: Wear “On My Own” Costume, stirrup tights, hair piece and foot undies. Please have 2 individual poses chosen. We will have only 30 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

7:55 p.m.: Wednesday 6:30 Tap class. Wear red top, white leotard, stirrup tights, hairpiece, foot covers, and gore boots. We will have only 20 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

8:15 p.m.: Monday 5:00 Ballet class. Wear blue dress, footed tights, hair piece and ballet shoes. Please have 2 individual poses chosen. We will have only 35 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

8:40 p.m.: Monday 4:00 Tap class - Girls. Wear “All that Jazz” costumes, tights, hair piece, and tap shoes. We will have only 15 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

2:45 p.m.: Tuesday 5:00 class (Miss Lindsey’s): Wear “Mama Mia” top, pants, black leotard, stirrup tights, hair piece and gore boots. Please have 2 individual poses chosen. We will have only 35 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

3:20 p.m.: Tuesday 4:30 Tap class. Wear rain coat, leotard, legging, hairpiece, stirrup tights, and tap shoes. Please have 2 individual poses chosen. We will have only 20 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

3:40 p.m.: Thursday 4:30 Tap class. Wear dress and t-shirt, white leotard, nude tights, hair piece and tap shoes. We will have only 15 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

3:55 p.m.: Tuesday 4:00 class (Miss Joy’s). Wear “Two Worlds” black top and gauchos, leotard, nude tights, hairpiece, and ballet shoes. We will have only 20 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

4:15 p.m.: Thursday 5:00 class (Miss Lindsey’s). Wear “Tomorrow” dress, white leotard, nude tights, and ballet shoes. We will have only 35 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

4:50 p.m.: Thursday 6:00 class. Wear “Popular” outfits. Diva’s in black leotard, dress, stirrup tights, hairpiece, and gore boots. Nerd’s in black leotards, shorts, t-shirts, stirrup tights, white socks, glasses, and gore boots. Please have 2 individual poses chosen. We will have only 30 minutes so please arrive on time and ready.

Dancers can wear their hair any way they wish for pictures. If your costumes are handed out for pictures and your hairpiece or accessories are not with them, they are probably not finished yet. We will bring them to pictures with us and you can pick them up there. Be sure and let us know if you have any questions or problems. Thanks!

We are so excited to see all of our dancers and their families again after the long holiday break! Classes begin again on Monday Jan. 4th, 2010 and we will be resuming our regular class schedule. We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 2010 is going to be an amazing year at Dance Unlimited!
